Miras Kindergarten in Astana was opened on December 1, 2004.

The Kindergarten is working under the integrated educational program for preschool children (aged 2 to 6) which is based on the State Compulsory Standards "Early Childhood Care and Education" GOSO RK - 1.001-2009, IB PYP (the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme) approaches and Montessori method of education.   

A specific feature of the program is transdisciplinary integration. The goal of the program is physical development of a child, development of a communicative-linguistic and creative competency, initial research skills, formation of sensory-cognitive, elementary mathematic knowledge, development of social habits and practical life skills). The educational process is carried out in Kazakh and Russian.   

The capacity is 8 groups, 170 children. The Kindergarten is located in a two-storey building with a total area of 2,700 sq.m where there are 8 group classrooms of 132 to 150 sq.m, a music hall and gym, art studio, Kazakh and English classrooms, psychologist’s room, speech therapist’s room, swimming pool and medical block. This academic year 183 kids are studying here. Every year about 45 children graduate from the Kindergarten.

The land area is 1.15 hectares.

The total staff includes 65 employees, of them 31 teachers.

The Kindergarten working hours: Monday – Friday from 08:00 a.m. till 06:00 p.m.
