The Miras Kindergarten in Almaty was opened on September 1, 2014. 

The Miras integrated educational program for preschool children (aged 2 to 6) is based on the State Compulsory Standards "Early Childhood Care and Education" GOSO RK - 1.001-2009, IB PYP (the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme) approaches and Montessori method of education.

The children education and development tasks are implemented in the program through integration of three areas of activity: physical and social, intellectual, creative development within the five educational areas: "Languages", "Learning the World" (an integrated course that combines both humanities and sciences), "Sensorics and Maths", "Physical and Social Development", "Art and Technology".

The capacity is 8 groups, 160 children. Every year about 40 children graduate from the Kindergarten.

The Kindergarten is located in a three-storey building with an area of 4,000 sq.m where there are 8 group sections, a music hall and gym, choreography area, library, swimming pool, English classroom, art studio, psychologist’s room, speech therapist’s room and medical block. The land area is 0.46 hectares.

The educational process takes place in Kazakh and Russian with English being taught additionally.

The Kindergarten working hours: Monday – Friday from 08:00 a.m. till 06:00 p.m.
