The Miras Kindergarten in Atyrau was opened on June 2, 2014. The Kindergarten is working under the integrated educational program for preschool children (aged 2 to 6) which is based on the State Compulsory Standards "Early Childhood Care and Education" GOSO RK - 1.001-2009, IB PYP (the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme) approaches and Montessori method of education.

The children education and development tasks are implemented in the program through integration of three areas of activity: physical and social, intellectual, creative development within the five educational areas: "Languages", "Learning the World" (an integrated course that combines both humanities and sciences), "Sensorics and Maths", "Physical and Social Development", "Art and Technology".

The educational process takes place in Kazakh (native language). Russian and English are second languages.

The capacity is 16 groups, 350 children. Every year about 90 children graduate from the Kindergarten. The Kindergarten construction was funded by JV Tengizchevroil, and the Kindergarten is attended by children of Tengizchevroil employees only.

The Kindergarten is located in a three-storey building with an area of 6,004.2 sq.m where there are 16 group sections of 57 to 82 sq.m, a music hall and gym, choreography area, library, the Kazakh Culture Center, English and Russian classrooms, an art studio, psychologist’s room, speech therapist’s room and medical block.

The land area is 1.12 hectares.

The total staff includes 136 employees, of them 78 teachers.

The Kindergarten working hours: Monday – Friday from 08:30 a.m. till 06:30 p.m.
