The University of International Business (UIB) was founded in 1992 and trains specialists in Economics, Technical Sciences and Humanities under all educational programmes: the Bachelor’s degree programme, Master’s degree programme and PhD programme, and provides business education through MBA and DBA.
UIB is a competitive higher educational institution that meets all the requirements of the Kazakhstani higher education quality and world standards, including a high scientific and research focus, practical orientation for developing skills and competencies of modern specialists.
The University of International Business was attested by the RoK Ministry of Education and Science, and accredited as a scientific organization for participation in scientific and scientific-technical activity. UIB was accredited by the Independent Kazakhstan Quality Assurance Agency for Education (IQAA), Austrian Quality Agency (AQA) under educational programme “Finance and Economics”.
According to the “General Rating of Higher Educational Institutions of 2012″ conducted by the Independent Kazakhstan Quality Assurance Agency for Education (IQAA), the University of International Business takes the fifth place among higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Humanities and Economics. According to the National Accreditation Center of the RoK Ministry of Education and Science, the University of International Business takes the third place among 75 higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan in “Economics, Accounting & Audit, Valuation”. Also, based on the results of annual Republican Contest “Senim-2011″, the University of International Business won an honorable first place in the nomination “The Best Employer in Two Capitals with more than 250 Employees”.

UIB signed memorandums with partner universities for international cooperation development on academic mobility of students and teachers and for dual degree educational programmes. Partners of the university include: the Information Systems Management Institute (ISMA) (Latvia, Riga), University of Jan Amos Comenius (UJAK) (Czech Republic, Prague), East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL) (China, Shanghai), Moscow International Higher Business School (MIRBIS) (Russia, Moscow).
