Since May 2003 all canteens of the Foundation’s schools and kindergartens have been united into a separate structural subdivision – Food-Express LTD. Specifics of catering at the Foundation’s schools and kindergartens is a combination of the rational nutrition principles, using unique recipes, applying advanced technologies in cooking healthy food in compliance with the basic requirements of international organization Global Child Nutrition Foundation, as well as the principles and policy of the World Food Programme. Meals produced in the canteens meet the highest requirements of industry standards. Primary products are certified and the quality is confirmed by the required certificates of conformity to GOST and technical conditions for cooking meals. Special attention at all stages of food stock supply, storage and processing, ready meals issue is paid to strict compliance with the sanitary and hygienic standards. A menu in the schools of the Foundation is represented by cuisine of many nations world-wide using classical and original recipes, a status of international schools obliges them to do so.
A technological process and organization control system has been developed in order to coordinate and bring into balance operation of all the enterprise’s subdivisions. Close interaction between the administration of Food-Express LTD and medical staff of the lyceum, schools and kindergartens, parent association, student council contributes to improving the quality of catering services for students. Owing to well-coordinated and consistent work of the quality management and marketing departments, business profile of the enterprise is expanding continuously.
